It's been a great past few weeks since appearing on STV's 'Live At Five' show with gigs at The Jazz Bar (Edinburgh), Cafe Drummonds (Aberdeen) and Behind The Wall (Falkirk). We're playing at The Rugby Club (Prestonpans) on Sat 14th May and are back at The Jazz Bar the following Friday 20th May.

In addition to that Gary and Gordon have just signed a publishing deal with Long Lunch Music for all the songs from the first album and we look forward to working with them over the next 3 years. Check out their website at:

We're currently working on the next album and hope to announce a release date in the not too distant future.

All the best

Hi there.

Just to update everyone - it was infact STV's 'Live At Five' show that we appeared on back on Friday 12th February.  We recorded 3 songs for the session, one of which was 'She Took Me To The Doctor' which was played on the show. STV have said the other 2 songs will be used in future shows which is great.

It was a great day and the sound of the band came across really well on TV so we were really pleased.  Although you can still catch it on the STV Player (up until 10/03/16) we hope STV will give us access to the recordings so we can upload them to this website, facebook, youtube etc. Watch this space!

In addition, we've just secured some more gigs and hopefully have more in the pipeline (see the calendar).  We're also continuing recording the new album which we hope to release in June this year. Further updates will continue as we make progress!

All the best

We're delighted to confirm that we've got our as yet untitled new album underway and hope to release this around June 2016. We were in Slate Studios in December (check out the photos) laying down the backing tracks and are currently working on overdubs etc at Gordon's home studio. We've been in contact with award winning producer Steve Power who's interested in mixing the album which is very exciting.

We've also been asked to do a session for STV's Grass Roots Show on Friday 12th February. This is also very exciting for us and we hope this will lead to bigger and better things in the months to follow.

BIG thanks to those of you came along to our gig at Bannermans on Saturday night. We got a great response and made some new fans which was brilliant!   Thanks to Rob (sound engineer) for getting us a great sound in a relatively short sound check slot. Top man!

It's now upwards and onwards for the band in 2016 - we hope to add more gigs shortly so watch this space!

Hi. I'd just like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has bought our CD, come to any of our gigs and 'liked' us on Facebook.

We're currently in the process of rehearsing with our new brass section made up of Annabel Bloomfield (trombone), Ruari Wilson (trumpet) and Frazer Simpson (sax) and it's sounding great. Like everyone else we're taking a break for the festive season but are looking forward to a busy 2016.

Thanks to the wonders of social media and internet radio, the CD is being shared and listened to across the globe...we've now have fans as far away as Argentina, Columbia, Aruba and the far east which is brilliant!

We will hopefully be putting some news on forthcoming gigs out early in the new year once dates are confirmed but in the meantime we hope you have a very funky Christmas.

Hi - our debut album 'Funky Philosophy' is out now and is available for purchase/download from CD Baby, Itunes, Amazon, Google Play etc

The album was mainly recorded in Gogs's huAmble home studio (Treehouse) over the course of 2014, although some of the drum & bass tracks were recorded at The Lane studios in Prestonpans, owned by our good friend Colin Findlay.

George Logan played drums on 2 of the tracks on the album (i.e., 'Sugar Daddy' and 'R U Rockin Wi Me') prior to Derek joining the band.
